Asahel Peck (February 6, 1803 – May 18, 1879) was the 35th Governor of Vermont from 1874 to 1876.
Peck was born in Royalston, Massachusetts in 1803. He moved to Montpelier, Vermont with his family at the age of three years old. A graduate of the University of Vermont he was also educated at Hinesburgh Academy and Washington County Grammar School. He was educated in Law in Hinesburg and admitted to the bar March 29, 1832.
